The Senior Business Analyst works closely with business stakeholders and technology teams to create both business, functional and technical requirements for features and functionality to support our internal business needs and guest experiences.
- Plan, organize and facilitate business analysis activities such as requirements elicitation, process definition, systems mapping, and functional test planning
- Identify, quantify the impact and mitigate risks related to project work
- Facilitate backlog requirement prioritization with project stakeholders
- Exercises influence of stakeholders with thoughtful and tactful communication to drive decisions
- Actively participates in testing phases throughout the project and support phases
- Aligning overall scope and sequencing recommendations with business stakeholders
- Business and functional requirements gathering & document technical requirements
- Performs troubleshooting and investigates root cause of production issues
- Translating business strategy into roadmaps for consumption by teams
- Prioritizing requirements based on business and technical needs
- Assess configuration options to meet requirements and specifications
- Aligning overall scope and sequencing recommendations with business stakeholders
- Include dependency management and architectural decisions in requirements
- Utilizing artifacts such as business requirements documents (BRDs), JIRA, Confluence and Business Process Documentation to facilitate requirements alignment sessions
- Documents technical solutions to identified problems
- Engages with engineers to design/configure solutions
- Strong skills in cross-functional partnership and gaining alignment within constraints of the project or work
- 5+ years of retail/ supply chain business analyst experience
- 5+ years in a Business Analyst role
- 5+ years working on supply chain or retail software engineer projects
- Experience working with SQMS
- 8+ years in IT
- Ability to manage and complete multiple tasks within tight deadlines.
- Working Experience with cloud-native technologies.
- Working Experience with SAFe/Agile project methodologies and DevOps
