Network Administrator & Helpdesk Analyst

Client: Real Estate

Role: Network Administrator & Helpdesk Analyst

Duration: Permanent - Full time

Salary/Rate: Negotiable, depending on experience

Location: Toronto - Onsite

Responsibilities:

  • Install, Maintain & Support over a dozen Hyper-V servers and around 50 guest VM Servers
  • Manage over a dozen Office 365 environments
  • Manage, support, maintain and deploy Windows Servers and Windows desktops
  • Assist in management of Hyper-V environment including Windows Clustering
  • Manage various IT projects & initiatives including new deployments
  • Assist in the monitoring & maintenance of existing servers & network infrastructure
  • Setup, installation, troubleshooting and resolution of computer & software related issues
  • Configure & support Sonicwall routers & IP Sec VPN
  • Maintain & organize inventory of all hardware and software
  • Compilation of documentation for new network implementations and or procedures
  • Being available occasionally to provide network support and implementations after hours or weekends.
  • Standard working hours are 8:30am – 5:00pm Monday thru Friday.


What You'll Need to Succeed:

  • A degree or diploma in Computer Networks or Information Technology
  • 8+ years of working experience in the required technologies listed
  • Windows 2012 R2/2016/2019/2022 Server Administration
  • Office 365 Exchange Administration
  • Active Directory Administration
  • Demonstrated experience of Hyper-V Server management
  • Experience with Hyper-V Windows Clustering is an asset
  • A firm understanding of DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, VPN protocols
  • Experience installing and troubleshooting Windows 7/10 operating systems
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure is an asset
  • Experience with vlans and routing is an asset
  • Experience with creating documentation & procedures for various instruction sets & processes
