1. Experience in designing and launching community programs or courses as this position will be helping to launch new programs
2. Demonstrated track record of engaging community through capacity building, grants and leading community boards
3. Project management skills
4. Excellent communication skills
5. Leadership skills in developing and executing strategy and creative solutions where challenges are presented.
6. Ability to work in a highly-collaborative and cross-functional setting
7. Deeply passionate about diversity, equity and inclusion and open to incorporating inclusive best practices into work every day.
8. Commitment to supporting storytellers/creatives from traditionally underrepresented communities

Nice to have skills:
1. University degree or equivalent experience
2. Experience in journalism an asset
3. Experience in TV and Film production an asset
