One Month Contract

Must have:

Strong SQL experience

Able to migrate Snowflake to Teradata

Job Description: Title: Software Developer - Data

• Degree or Diploma in a related discipline

• 8+ years cloud-based software development experience

• 8+ years SQL with an emphasis on analytics and data warehousing techniques

• 3+ years implementing batch processing applications using stored procedures or similar

• 3+ years Apache Spark with Python

• 3+ years hands on with multi-terabyte flat file data sets hosted on cloud bucket storage

• Proficiency with AWS via the web and CLI

• Proficiency with Git and CI/CD

• Proficiency with Linux / Unix command line environments

• Familiarity with BASH scripting

• Specific experience with Snowflake and/or Teradata

• Experience optimizing Apache Spark jobs

• Experience with dependency-based process automation tools such as Apache Airflow or similar

• Experience with Apache Kafka or other event streaming systems

• Basic familiarity with Machine Learning / Data Science techniques

• Dev-ops Experience with the Serverless cloud deployment framework, Cloud Formation and AWS architecture
